Design Meets Maximum Performance
With the BM Jubilé, we offer a loudspeaker that delivers unrestricted performance within a sleek, living-room-friendly design. With its slender silhouette, the Jubilé resembles a sail rather than the powerhouse loudspeaker it truly is in terms of sound. To achieve such a slim profile, we utilize specific physical principles of wave propagation.
Unlike light, bass frequencies do not propagate linearly; they are diffracted. Low-frequency sound waves, in particular, bend around corners, whereas higher tonal ranges are either not heard or only very faintly audible in those areas. This physical fact allows us to "hide" the massive 12-inch drivers inside the speaker and transmit their energy through rear-facing vents. As a result, the front of the BM Jubilé remains slim and the side panels remain free of bass drivers, maintaining a clear, unbroken design.
The mid-high frequency reproduction also leaves nothing to be desired, utilizing technology from our flagship models: The unique Fraunhofer Cylinder Wave Radiator—famous from the BM Line 35, 60, 80, and 100—is tonally combined with eight in-house high-performance mid-range drivers. The invisibly integrated, DMC 2.0-controlled 12-inch bass drivers ensure the precise, "dry" low-end performance for which B&M is renowned. The resulting cylinder wave optimizes any acoustic environment for undisturbed playback with the highest degree of musicality. Additionally, the B&M Firtec processor ensures perfect equalization and adaptation to your listening room, while the exceptionally narrow design integrates visually into any home interior.
